Suzana Jovanovic is a self-taught Serbian born artist based in The Netherlands. Her studies in philosophy and partially in psychology have a great influence on her creative process. Most of her work is figurative art symbolizing phenomena such as human behaviour, interaction with nature and one's wishes and dreams. Suzana also uses her art to express her opinion about some sociological matters, such as individual freedom of choice. She enjoys creating her own mythological characters, glorifying one's personality and inner strength.

Suzana is an internationally award winning artist and in Holland well known as the finalist of television painting contest Project Rembrandt. Her paintings have been exhibited in United States, Portugal, Holland, Belgium... As renowned artist, Suzana has had exhibitions in many prominent musea as: Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Museum Jan Cunen in Oss, Markiezenhof in Bergen Op Zoom, Stepping Stones in Stamford, and Connecticut. She paints mostly in oils and acrylics.

Despite her busy life, she still finds time to paint commissioned portraits, family portraits, pet portraits, landscapes or still life.

Since the beginning of 2020 Suzana has started teaching fine art in oils.
